Bitcoin - Manifesto, the new Pietà of digital redemption. A breathtakingly detailed work of art history from the dawn of the Bitcoin Era.
This 1/1 hand-drawn masterpiece is an epochal reinterpretation of the famous bronze relief of the main entrance (central portal) of the Duomo di Milano – that monumental work by Ludovico Pogliaghi, which depicts the Joys and Sorrows of the Virgin Mary and the Pietà scene of Christ in magnificent Gothic-modern splendor.
In this work, created with approximately 210 hours of the most meticulous and devoted labor, I have radically transposed the iconic Pietà scene into the digital present:
At the center stands an exalted Christ figure bearing the glowing ₿ symbol on his chest, surrounded by angels filled with curiosity and awe, each wearing on their robes the emblem of a contemporary, modern fiat currency.
Centrally, almost devotedly attending to – indeed carrying – the Christ figure, is an unrecognizable shrouded figure wrapped in heavy robes. This figure is deliberately left ambiguous to invite interpretation – an analogy to Satoshi Nakamoto and his enigmatic identity.
The entire composition is framed by richly ornamented Gothic arches, reliefs, intricate details, and inscriptions. The Bitcoin monetary policy equation 50 × ∑_{i=0}^{32} (210000 / 2^i) is engraved as an almost sacred maximum of Bitcoin’s scarcity, enthroned above the scene like a divine decree. Combined with the plastic depth of the figures and strikingly realistic cast shadows, Renaissance spirituality merges seamlessly with the code of modernity.
Particularly lovingly integrated are several Bitcoin Easter eggs that will make connoisseurs smile the moment they spot them:
• The coat of arms from the flag of El Salvador – a silent tribute to the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.
• The exact block timestamp of the block in which the very last satoshi is paid out as block subsidy (the final halving).
• Iconic Bitcoin sayings such as “IN CODE WE TRUST” – subtly woven into the ornaments and ribbons.
• Further hidden references to the Genesis Block date, the Whitepaper, and general Bitcoin mantras that only reveal themselves upon prolonged contemplation.
This is not merely a drawing – it is a visual manifesto: Bitcoin as the new sacrament of incorruptibility, as hard, finite money in opposition to inflation and decay – a path and instrument for the liberation of the individual from the physical and mental chains of the fiat debt-money system and its diabolical tyranny.
After more than 10 years of working in retail without any formal training or degree, this work has enabled me to establish myself internationally as an independent Bitcoin artist, warming the hearts of Bitcoiners and sparking their fascination with this artistic proof-of-work in their consciousness.
For this reason, it has extraordinary emotional value.

My works are hand-drawn pencil uniques and are created exclusively through direct, manual work with graphite on paper – without any digital templates or mechanical aids.
Due to this authentic creation process, typical traces of handmade work may be visible, especially on the back of the sheet:
