This extraordinary pencil artwork is a true one-of-a-kind piece and bears the title Bitcoin - Declaration of Peace. With filigree precision and exceptional richness of detail, it creates a multi-layered, symbolic composition that presents Bitcoin as the path out of oppression and division toward peace and freedom.
At the center dominates a powerful, modified interpretation of the ancient Laocoön – the famous Hellenistic sculpture depicting the struggle against overwhelming forces. Here, however, the central figure – still bearing traces of torment – tears apart the chains of the fiat system and decisively breaks out of the dark “Matrix”. Surrounded by exploding rockets, falling currency symbols ($ and €), and debris of war, poverty, and greed, it embodies victory over inflation, control, and deception.
Engraved directly on the body of the Laocoön figure are the words “WAR FOR PEACE” – a bitter, incisive inscription that exposes the complete madness and profound paradox of governmental and state logic. “War for peace” – an oxymoron that has served for centuries as justification for military aggression, surveillance, and oppression.
